Everyone knows the story of Romeo and Juliet,
A tale of an inseparable love is romantic,
But also a tale of a forbidden love…how tragic,
Love is indeed blind but now I see & I’m tired.
I’m tired of looking how hard he tried,
How long he chased,
How patient he was,
In th.e.nd it was all a waste.
I’m also tired of how she reacted,
How she faked the blushes,
How ignorant she was,
It was all too harsh.
Perhaps the term bliss in ignorance is true,
That way my paranoia won't have a breakthrough,
And be happy like you because it doesn’t hurt,
Not twice but thrice you made me look like a fool,
I should’ve known that it was not meant to be,
But despite this sometimes I still dream of you.
Though I’ll give him credit for hanging so long,
By now he should realized this is not where he belong,
Let her and her feelings walk together like everyone else,
Let her fantasize and drown in her dreamy fairy tales,
Let her be just like an old saying of the frog in a well.
Anyhow…now that it is over sober no more,
Though you tore my heart you seem unsure,
I hope one day you won’t come at my door,
Being sore and know what you were sorry for.
...goodbye for now.
